The Montana Department of Transportation has released a report that develops a new Rock Slope Asset Management Program (RAMP) after reassessing the department’s previous rockfall hazard evaluation process. RAMP includes new features, such as the ability to isolate specific evaluation attributes, new condition state categories, and evaluation of rockfall event likelihoods. The new tool also includes a set of implementation tools to help guide decision making and the project development process.
